Sunshine State Outdoor Volleyball Association was started on May 2004 in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
Our goal is to host beach volleyball tournaments with the focus on the players, ensuring they can focus on the game.
SSOVA's staff are ALL players who meet to discuss the issues that made tournaments great, those factors which frustrate players so to cater to the players to improve a player's experience.

Our Motto: "The First Tour Ran by the PLAYERS, for the PLAYERS". We acknowledge that the tour would not exist without the players so that is why we listen to our players feedback. Our JUNIORS have been the biggest area of growth with so many more kids playing volleyball, so we work with coaches, parents and even the kids.
SSOVA gives back! We understand the importance of building a community that takes care of each other and our planet.
We host a fundraisers for local non-profits. Each Sunday we host a beach clean up open to our players and the public. We love leaving every place better than we found it.
P.S Juniors can earn volunteer hours for our regular Sunday beach clean ups hosted with The Green Peacemakers & Keep Pinellas Beautiful.
Beach Volleyball is the BEST sport in the world and we feel very privileged that we can provide QUALITY events to all of the players. We want to thank you for your support of our tour and we hope to see you on the BEACH!
